Caudalie VINOPERFECT Radiance Revealing Mask
Caudalie VINOPERFECT Radiance Revealing Mask

Caudalie, a popular French brand famous for its active ingredients – green grapes – has a new product: VINOPERFECT Radiance Revealing Mask. This mask features 200ppm of titrated viniferine, grape seed oil, vegetable glycerin, as well as Candeia, and promises to renew skin, tighten pores and provide ‘an immediate burst of radiance in just 10 minutes’.

While many masks promise similar things, the most impressive feature of this new Caudalie mask is its integrated ultra-soft brush applicator, which gives an even application every time, and hygienic too, since it eliminates the need for your fingers to touch the product directly. The soothing soft scent completes the spa-like treatment at home.

This product’s suggested retail price is US$42.00 for 1.3 oz.

      Dear nami,

I wasn’t too ‘wowed’ by this, but the applicator is pretty neat! Some of the Caudalie products are fairly basic and they are not cheap, and this is one of them…

      Dear nami,

Don’t be sorry! You didn’t ask anything stupid! 🙂 I thank you for your compliment – although, up close, the dehydration lines on my forehead, and the lines around my eyes when I smile really betray my age! 😛 I don’t take any supplements actually, but my diet is mediterranean (lots of olive oil) and a lot of sushi. My skin is still dry though! It’s mostly climate related as I live in Toronto. When I travel to Florida my skin is moist and supple without much effort!

I just got off using the entire line of The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol brightening, and I started to use the Hwa Hyun line by Whoo. It is very hydrating, but the Seol line made my skin very nice and smooth and faded my freckles dramatically. Is your skin dull because of dehydration or dryness? You are still young, at 28, I would suggest adding a hydrating essence to your routine, and a cloth essence mask 2 times a week.

If your skin is fairly normal, you can try the History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Skin Balancer, Essence and Lotion to start; if it is a bit dryer, you can add the cream at the end, especially at night. The Brightening Peel off Pack is drying but does brighten the skin tone. I always think the biggest battle to fight is moisture balance – if your skin is properly hydrated, your skin tone will not be dull. A gentle exfoliator will also help – no more than 2x a week though. (I use an exfoliator once a week)

      Dear nami,

My complete regime – right now I am actually just sampling all the samples, but before the sampling I was using:

The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Brightening Cleansing Foam
The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Whitening Skin Balancer (toner)
The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Whitening Essence
The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Whitening Lotion
The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Whitening Cream

I used The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Jinaek Program for one month with this lineup but now it’s used up and I am not getting more.

For treatment, I use The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol Brightening Peel Off Pack, AmorePacific Restoring Masque (not that great by the way), Charmzone CRD De-Age Red Addition Control Cream (massage cream), Origins Brighter By Nature peel.

Right now I am using The History of Whoo Hwa Hyun Skin Balancer and Lotion during the day. Sunscreen: IOPE Sunblock White. It’s my favorite sunscreen!

There are a lot of samples I use here and there but they aren’t really regular supply so the ones I mentioned are more of my ‘regular’ regime. I will be using the The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol basic care (cleanser, balancer, lotion) full size very soon, plus a cream from some of my deluxe samples.

This week I started using su:m37 Secret Programming Essence in addition to everything else too, this is a full size product so I will have it for the next little while. Will report back on that in a month! 🙂

      dear nami,

The best hydrating essence is still SKII’s Facial Treatment Essence and the mask is the Facial Treatment Mask – these just can’t be beat and I have tried hundreds of different products! 🙂
