Product Review: RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum

RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum, 3ml, US$49.95

I bought this for my 36th birthday. What better gift than something that will give me some eyebrows?

I inherited my father’s faint and sparse eyebrows, with very little growth or hair at the ends. I have always had to draw in my eyebrows. So after doing a lot of research, and many rave reviews about RapidLash used for eyebrows, I shelled out close to CAD$60.00 (it’s currently on sale at walmart.com for less than US$32.00) to try to grow me some brows.

Apparently the formula had changed, due to some safety concerns, so the RapidLash formula now isn’t the same as it first came out. I am not using it for my lashes because my eyes are very sensitive though, so this review is strictly on RapidLash’s effects on my eyebrows only.

It had been 3 months since I started using it. I waited this long because even though the product claimed to work in less time than that, according to brow expert Anastasia (of Beverly Hills), it takes that long for brows and lashes to grow.

Surprisingly though, the first week I used it, I already saw some results. My brow hair had grown a little bushier, though after a week I didn’t see dramatic improvement. 2 months into the trial period, I already saw results; the previously bare spots had started to grow. By now, 3 months since I started using RapidLash nightly on my brows, I have much more hair on my brows than ever before:

If you were wondering if my brow hair would have grown in eventually without RapidLash, I can assure you that of my 36 year existence, my eyebrows on both sides have always looked the same as the picture on the left. I have little hair past the middle of my brows since birth. My father’s eyebrows are the same way.

So 3 months later, I finally have the hair filled in the bare parts. It is by no means dark, thick and bushy; but it’s a lot more than I had in 36 years of my life!

The 3ml lasts a long time too. Even now, I still have product left in the tube. So I continue to use it nightly, and I started to use it where I already had hair a few weeks ago too. It did look a little darker meaning the hair had grown.

I have seen these lash enhancing serums go for more than US$100, so at half of that price, RapidLash is decent. The most important thing is that it works! Also, RapidLash claims that this works on brows too. A lot of the other brands have specifically made one for brows, one for lashes. RapidLash definitely worked on my brows.

Unfortunately, Walmart Canada doesn’t carry RapidLash. Shoppers Drugmart was where I purchased this, and the price in Canadian dollars is an outrage considering our dollar’s parity with the US dollar. Still, a worthwhile investment!

Animal Testing Status:

RapidLash does not test on animals.

No I stopped after I used up the first tube. It worked very well in the beginning for me, but I have seen two tubes going for the same price of 1 at Costco and Walmart in the US so I feel so ripped off buying any more where I am 😉

      Hi Jasmine,

I haven’t tried Revitalash…I am using Billion Dollar Brows’ Brow Boost, it doesn’t work…these brow serums are expensive! Not sure if I will try another one.
