The Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Collection was developed using high performance formulas to create a new generation of makeup invisible to high definition cameras and the naked eye. The Microfinish Blush is a cream blush that naturally sculpts and highlights the cheeks for a healthy glow. Sericite and cellulose powder create a ‘soft focus’ effect for a radiant complexion. Its ultra-fine, second skin texture blends seamlessly and glides on effortlessly for an easy application.

Sounds good? Well, I am happy to report that this is as good as it sounds. At first it might seem expensive since the product is really small; but like the product description suggests, a little bit is all that is needed. How little? I bought this in #5 (Nip Slip, a neutral pink) and I had measured the amount needed to use on both cheeks – no more than 0.1cm!! This cream blush is highly pigmented (like most things MUFE), so this tiny bottle (10ml) will last forever. For those who are concerned about preservatives, this product is paraben free.

A note about Make Up For Ever products

The thing about Make Up For Ever products is that it is created for professionals or someone with moderate to advanced knowledge or experience with applying makeup. It is not fool-proof – you can look like a clown with these products if you are a novice. But with practice, you can create a flawlessly natural nude face look, or a vibrant and trendy made up face. With highly pigmented products, you will need to use a little at a time, until you get the hang of the products. So the good thing is that the products will last a long time because you only need a little at a time, but the bad thing is that if you are fairly new to makeup, you may need to redo it several times in the beginning.
