M.A.C. Powder Blush in Mocha, 6g, CAD$20.00

I was never a big fan of M.A.C. but I didn’t mind their products. It offers a vast range of colors and shades which is a big plus if you are really into makeup, or if you are a makeup artist; and for everybody else, the mid-range prices are attractive too. Previously, I was disappointed with their base makeup (Studio Finish powder which oxidized and turned orange on me). Now that I don’t use foundation anymore, I am not too picky when it comes to cheek makeup as long as the color is right.

I got this powder blush in Mocha, a brownish pink, which looks flattering on just about every skin tone since it is very neutral. The price is good – $20.00 and I had this for over 2 years! The color stays true, no oxidizing (which isn’t uncommon since you use blush on your cheeks which aren’t typically sebaceous) and has long lasting power if you apply over a loose powder. It was microfine and smooth, and goes on easy. At the end of the day, the blush was still there, so no touch up required.

For $20, and with its vast range of shades available, this is what makes M.A.C. famous. M.A.C. also doesn’t test on animals, so another reason to use it!
