This is the second Hada Labo product I bought from my recent Adambeauty haul. I also bought the tamagohada AHA+BHA Cleansing Foam which I haven’t used yet.

What is Tamagohada?

Official description:

REVEAL “EGGQUISITE” SMOOTH SKIN
Inspired by the smoothness and delicateness of an unshelled egg, this “eggquisite” cleanser contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) to give clarity, brightness and promote skin cell renewal by preventing dead skin cell buildup. The gentle cleanser lathers into a fine, velvety foam to prevent blemishes and polishes away dullness for a renewed skin every day.

  • Gently exfoliates skin to remove impurities, dirt & oil trapped within pores.
  • Polishes away dullness & refine skin texture for visibly clear, smooth & radiant skin.
  • Skin pH balanced. Low irritation.
  • Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol & colorant.

The texture:

It’s more solid than I expected – thick too. It doesn’t lather into a super foam – in fact, it doesn’t foam much at all, but it removes makeup very well. It doesn’t strip the skin of moisture after cleansing, and my dehydrated skin seems to like it. Though it contains AHA and BHA, I even used this to remove eye makeup with no irritation at all (this is a makeup remover and cleanser in one) – and my eyes are super sensitive.

Because there is no fragrance, alcohol or mineral oil, I would say this is really really mild. My skin feels clean but not dry. For the price and the mildness, a steal at US$14.50!

Love it!
