I bought this with a $20 off VIB discount at Christmas time, along with another item that totalled $50 for the discount. This is part of Too Faced’s Primed & Poreless lineup, which I had used the primer and wasn’t entirely impressed other than finding it pretty standard silicone stuff.

I prefer using a colorless/translucent loose powder to set my makeup, but when I find out that the loose powder version of this product retails at the same price with only 0.16oz (less than half of the pressed version!), I went for the pressed version. It is made primarily of fine silica, which gives the skin a very smooth feel and touch, without much obvious tint; even though if you use flash photography, this will show up rather white.

I did not find the primer extends my makeup, but for some reason I was expecting the powder to at least control the shine; but I was disappointed with that aspect too. It made no difference whatsoever for my t-zone, which is combination (whereas the rest of my face is dehydrated and dry). I had to blot my forehead with or without this powder so this didn’t make much of a difference at all.

I was surprised how quickly I used this up as well. One month! Usually a 9-11g powder lasts me 2-3 months, but this one, I was seeing the bottom before the end of the one month period! Also, it did not conceal or make my pores look smaller. It is expensive for what it is.

Bottom line: there are cheaper powders that do more or less the same thing, and this isn’t my HG powder so I won’t be repurchasing.
