Why I love the Spring collections so much is that there are so many possibilities! While Bobbi Brown and Dior are sporting a light, blushed pink look, Estee Lauder’s new collection is all about a bolder, more vibrant look — fuchsia.

The most enticing item in this collection is Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder, a multi-use product that can be used all over the face or even décolletage, with a nice, pink glow. Bright pinks may not appeal to everybody, but this shimmer powder will look good on almost all skin tones.

While I am personally more comfortable wearing soft, muted pinks, I am still excited to see such vivid colors. After all, it’s Spring, who wouldn’t want to look more lively after a long, cold winter like what we have in the east coast?

I remember an Estee Lauder GORGEOUS hot bright luminescent blue pink blush from 25 or more years ago that was SPECTACULAR, and sadly, discontinued! I’ve been looking the world over since, all to no avail. I don’t recall the name. Gosh, I sure wish they would go back and bring such an amazing color back! It was vibrant, not for the shy of heart, had a vibrant hot pink tone with an undertone of blue. One of a kind, unusual, words fail me! Wore it approximately in late 60’s or early 70’s…cannot recall exact timeframe.
