Product Review: IOPE Retinol TX Intensive

This is IOPE’s star product, and not my first time using it, though it’s my first time using the full size product. To give you a bit of background, I have started to have dehydration fine lines on my forehead, and nothing seems to work. Unfortunately, the Amore stores here (Toronto and GTA) no longer carries this product, so I had to buy it online (ebay) at US$69 from a Korean seller. Product Review: IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning

It almost as if IOPE and Estee Lauder both entered the competition with SKII at the same time, for the latter’s Facial Treatment Essence market! Tonymoly Intense Care Snail Skin, 75ml

Product Review: Tonymoly Intense Repair Live Snail Skin

It was a bonus with my purchase of the cream gift set, so I can’t complain. It’s a gel-type toner that’s thicker than your usual water-like toner from many Japanese brands. It is in a 5-free formula and though there is no added fragrance, it smells rather like citrus, like the rest of the line. Read more…

The Face Shop Babyface Hydrogel Mask Collagen

Product Review: The Face Shop Babyface Hydrogel Mask Collagen

This is twice the price of the Real Nature Mask Sheets The Face Shop offers. At 25g, this contains about the same amount of essence as in the Real Nature Mask Sheet, but because the mask itself is a silicone-like mask, it felt heavier. It is a bit deceptive, however. With a silicone mask, it’s not easy to tell how much liquid is in the mask, and the skin cooling hydrogel mask can fool you into thinking it’s hydrating. Read more…
