Blog Etiquette: The Five Golden Rules of Posting on Joseibi.com

Rule #1: Speak No Evil

Blogs are personal by nature and express the bloggers’ own opinions. Our comments and articles here are not intended to diagnose or treat any illnesses or diseases, and our recommendations and tips are not meant to replace our readers’ own judgment or experience.

Common forum etiquette is expected and observed on Joseibi.com. That includes no foul language (explicit or implicit), personal attacks,  name calling and disrespectful remarks against our writers, administrators as well as other posters on this blog. Any offending posts will be deleted immediately, and the posters will be banned from posting on our blog.

Rule #2: No Seller Propaganda

Because Joseibi.com is not an ecommerce and does not receive samples from any manufacturer, the positive reviews we give are based on actual user experience.

Also, keep in mind that the same product may not work on everyone. Just because a product does wonders for your skin, it doesn’t mean it will work on someone else with the same results.

There were recent incidents where posters (Joseibi included!) expressed dissatisfaction about a particular product and a seller (owners and/or staff of a retail store) would make the posters feel like they weren’t using the products properly. Because of an obvious agenda (sell, sell, sell! Our products are good, good, good!), we do not allow sellers to debate with users over how the products worked or failed. Joseibi.com is a place where users can discuss the efficacy of products they like freely and nobody should have to justify why they like or dislike something they use. Any seller comments meant to intimidate, patronize or belittle users will be removed right away without a warning.

Rule #3: No Spam

We have a built-in spam blocker. That means we know who the spammers are (we can view IPs of anyone who post a comment on Joseibi.com) and their comments won’t be posted, no matter how many times they try.

Rule #4: One Link Policy

Any comment with more than one external links (meaning outside Joseibi.com) will automatically be classified as spam.

Rule #5: No Gmarket Links

For some reason, any links to Gmarket within Joseibi.com (including comments) will get our blog listed as ‘malware’ on Google’s search engine, so we do not allow any Gmarket links anymore.
