The results didn’t take too long to see, I think even after the first few nights I already saw an improvement in the dullness (caused by dehydration) in my skin tone. I woke up to glowing skin the very first week I used it, and unlike some of the whitening products which I don’t find hydrating enough (e.g. The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang:Seol), Su:m37′s White Award line is rather moisturizing. However, I do find that while it improves the skin’s overall radiance and tone, it is not really a whitening line like Seol; this is more like a brightening line and has little effects on freckles.

Dearest readers,

I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner, but better late than never! Since there are so many comments and threads on this blog, I thought it would suit your interest even better by having a forum, that way we can do polls (I attempted to use a poll plugin on this blog but somehow it doesn’t work!), discuss brands and products I haven’t reviewed, exchange ideas, etc. Registered members also get to send private messages to one another.

The forum can be accessed on the top right corner of the navigation, or by clicking here.

The very first Beauty Poll is: What Is Your Favorite Skincare Brand? Be sure to vote on your favorite Japanese or Korean brand!

It will get a facelift (it will be made prettier, I promise!) in the near future, but for now, please feel free to post away! :)

Sulwhasoo’s Hydroaid was inadequate for me in hydration – the essence was not hydrating enough, nor was the cream. The History of Whoo’s Soo Yeon essence and cream felt very similar to Hydroaid, but was a tad bit more hydrating. Neither could sustain overnight in terms of hydration, and had no other effects such as brightening or line plumping. With Su:m37′s Water Full, however, I noticed an immediate difference right after each use, and the effects continued into the next morning. If I use the Water Full Moisturizing Cream at night, for example, I wake up to glowing, moist skin (even under 40% humidity in the house); if I use the entire line during the day, my skin glows all day without the use of any cosmetic help (e.g. luminizer). It seems to give me that really natural, healthy glow whenever I use it.

This Gel Mask is very different from most cloth essence masks, or even gel masks, that I used. It is more like those gel gloves or socks you get from Bliss – except this one comes in almost like a sticky 3M sheet. You have to peel off the mask before you use it. It is kind of weird, and at first, I found it very strange because the gel mask didn’t seem to have a lot of essence in it – the gel mask itself is weighty enough, but not SKII Facial Treatment Mask kind of weighty. You don’t get liquids oozing out of the mask like most cloth essence sheet masks do. The mask felt very cool and goes on like a film, which you leave on for 10 – 15 minutes.
