The Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Collection was developed using high performance formulas to create a new generation of makeup invisible to high definition cameras and the naked eye. The Microfinish Blush is a cream blush that naturally sculpts and highlights the cheeks for a healthy glow. Sericite and cellulose powder create a ‘soft focus’ effect for a radiant complexion. Its ultra-fine, second skin texture blends seamlessly and glides on effortlessly for an easy application.

After reading so many good reviews about Givenchy makeup, I wanted to try this lip plumping gloss, which retails at a higher price than I normally pay for a lip gloss. Is it worth it? Well, I can tell you by reviewing the product by its texture, staying power, plumping effect and scent.

I have to admit – Cargo isn’t my usual brand for makeup and I rarely buy it. I bought this because it was on sale at sephora.com for only $5.50 and since it has great reviews and I needed something cheap to get free shipping, I bought it in Big Sur, a mauve rose color that looks very neutral.

For a long time, I wondered what is so special about Shiseido’s Qiora brand. The product packaging looks very nice in a soothing blue tone, and while it is supposed to relax you with the right aroma, I did not know what else this brand was supposed to do for your skin. Like many things Shiseido, Qiora operates on scientific principles, that by relaxing your mind and body (with certain types of fragrances), your skin will become better as a result. You can’t really go wrong with Shiseido, so I gave this line a try – at least the skin care part.
I have tried 3 of their basic products – the Makeup Cleanse, a makeup remover, Clear Lotion RR and Cream DH – and after a month, I decided to write this review.

I was a little less skeptical after reading rave reviews, and before I knew it, I bought the Tone-Up Electric Slide from Victoria’s Secret’s website since the Shape-Ups selection in Canada is very small and the Tone-Ups aren’t available here at all. For US$49.00, I thought it was a cheap way to test out this latest fad.

What better way to celebrate 30 years of business than to create yet another sure-hit product? SKII’s brand new whitening essence (its whitening essence has gone through so many upgrades and new names I have lost count!), called Cellumination Essence, promises to light up your skin from within in as little as 7 days.

Bobbi Brown became the latest big name to join in the lucrative array of brightening skincare , and she is very wise to do it. Why? Because Asia is such a huge beauty market, and skin brightening (usually called skin whitening over there) is the perpetual profitable business. Every major western brand had already released at least one line of skin brightening care – think Dior’s Diorsnow, Lancome’s Blanc Expert and Estee Lauder’s Cyber White – even though the most well known and most popular whitening brands still remain pretty much a Japanese game. This marks Bobbi Brown’s foray into the skin brightening care and let’s see what her line offers:

Dry shampoos have been around for awhile and I have tried a few. The last one I tried was Klorane Dry Shampoo, an aerosol spray type which I was not too fond of. Dry shampoos are, by the way, one of those things that people either love or hate; for myself, if I don’t shampoo at least every other day, my hair feels greasy at the scalp and I feel yucky. When I read rave reviews about this amazing invention, I had to try it for myself to see whether it’s as miraculous as people say.

Shiseido’s White Lucent line has been newly upgraded! The featured product in the lineup is the Intensive Spot Targeting Serum, exclusively formulated with 3 patented ingredients 4MSK, m-Tranexamic Acid, and Multi-Target Vitamin C which target spots at every process of melanin formation for clear, even-toned skin. Natural Yomogi Extract catalyzes the elimination of pigmentation.

Formerly called Ahyoomee or Ayumi Lee, ICONIQ shot to fame from her girl-group Sugar (Korean) and like BoA, another Korean singer before her, who became quite popular in Japan and much of Asia, ICONIQ got herself a vast array of endorsements, the latest and biggest one being Shiseido’s lucrative contract for Maquillage, a highly popular cosmetic line.

While I am not a super big fan of M.A.C.’s, I do like their vast variety of shades. These collaborated products are very trendy and because they are only limited editions, they are cute to keep for a while, at least for the season. The Liberty of London collection is mostly pastels and pinks by the way, very fresh and cute, and will for sure put you in the mood for Spring.

If Clarins keeps this up, I may just switch all my makeup products to Clarins! The new Wonder Perfect Mascara, available in 3 shades, is just that – it is wonderful and perfect. After my huge disappointment with Shiseido The Makeup’s Perfect Mascara, which is anything but perfect, I was a little skeptical at first when I tried the Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara, but after just one use, I am hooked!
